Reservation Options
L'Ancienne Écurie is only available to rent on a self-catering basis and there are a choice of formulas available. For all gîte formulas (with the exception of the week-end specials), we require at least 4 nights rental (minimum of 7 nights during the period of mid June to mid September). The tariffs for all options are given in the drop down pages under the heading "Accommodation" .
The Accommodation
The accommodation is set over two floors, comprising four spacious bedrooms, one on the ground floor and three on the first floor. There is a dining room, with table to seat ten, an adjoining sitting room and kitchen, equipped with all modern comforts, such as dishwasher, oven/gas hob, microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, "Senseo" coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Adjoining the kitchen is a utility room, with washing machine, tumble dryer, drinks fridge/ice freezer and additional shower cubicle, plus a separate WC. The entire house is decorated in soft tones to compliment the natural features of old stone and beams. The decor is simple but classic and the furniture throughout is period style, many pieces being original.
The Bedrooms
Our bedrooms are named after the four Italian stone cherub statues which surround the fountain in the front garden, who all play a different instrument. Each bedroom has its own ensuite, all with shower and one with bath as well.
Chambre Mandola
A light and airy room on the upstairs level with a king-size bed and a large single day bed. It features a pretty juliette balcony overlooking the château with its landscaped gardens and fountain below.
Chambre Flauto
Decorated with soft hues, this room is situated upstairs, boasting its own demi-lune balcony overlooking the château, its gardens and fountain below. There is a king-size bed and ample space for an extra single bed if required.
Chambre Tamburello
With its super king size bed this is the largest of the four bedrooms, with a feature curved wall and double aspect views, overlooking the château and gardens from the juliette balcony window on one side and the horse paddocks and vineyards beyond from the other side.
Chambre Piatti
The smallest of our four bedrooms, but no less charming! It also boasts the largest shower room, with views of the vineyards and our own horses' grazing paddocks.
